Module learning outcomes

Critically access, integrate, and analyse biological data from public repositories using advanced web-based bioinformatics tools to design, justify, and execute group research projects.

Critically synthesise and evaluate bioinformatics datasets to elucidate complex relationships between genes, proteins, and disease mechanisms, demonstrating insight into biological systems and translational relevance.

Demonstrate a critical and systematic understanding of advanced bioinformatics and genomics methodologies, applying and appraising appropriate approaches for the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.
