The ßÏßÏÊÓƵ has been awarded first place in two categories in this year’s .   

ßÏßÏÊÓƵ claimed top spot in both the International and Student Life categories, in the South East region. We were also ranked third in the region in the Career Prospects, Postgraduate, and Students' Union categories. 

In the overall national rankings, ßÏßÏÊÓƵ has risen 33 places to 39^th in the UK. Our biggest national improvement was in Career Prospects, where we climbed 58 places to 32^nd. We also improved on last year’s performance in eight other categories, including in the International category, which saw us rise 42 places to 19^th in the UK.  

The WUSCAs are the largest annual awards in the UK where the outcome is decided exclusively by students’ reviews across numerous categories.  

Our Student Communications and Campaigns team has worked tirelessly with our student population for months to support and encourage them to submit reviews about their experience at Sussex. The student reviews are then collated by the WUSCA organisers to calculate the winners of the annual awards.  

ßÏßÏÊÓƵ was also runner-up nationally in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Support category of this year’s WUSCAs. This is based on the quality and range of support and mental health interventions offered to ßÏßÏÊÓƵ students by our Wellbeing Services.

The results are recognition of the dedicated work that has been going on across the University to enhance the student experience, and world-readiness and employability, for all our students.
