Manual Handling Training

This introductory workshop is applicable for staff who carry out basic manual handling operations, e.g. lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving loads, and using simple equipment such as sack trucks. It is not intended for staff undertaking complex operations or those that require specialist lifting equipment, e.g. hoists, pneumatic/scissor lift tables, suction lifters, etc.
Please note this course includes a practical element; please wear suitable clothing and shoes and inform the trainer of any medical conditions at the start of the course.
