ßÏßÏÊÓƵ awarded £727,000 from the Turing Scheme
The ßÏßÏÊÓƵ has secured £727,000 in funding from the UK Government's Turing Scheme.
The Turing Scheme provides global opportunities in education and training for students attending UK schools, colleges, and universities.
ßÏßÏÊÓƵ is proud to have one of the largest and oldest study abroad networks in the UK, having facilitated overseas studies since the 1960s. Through this approach, the University supports over 700 students a year to participate in global internships, field trips and other short-term placements. Furthermore, ßÏßÏÊÓƵ is 8th place in Student Mobility, in the 2021 and 2022
Earlier this year, we submitted a detailed application for 2022/23 to the Turing Scheme, to apply for part of its higher education funding stream. We received £727,000, which is 11.5% more than our 2021/22 award.
