Biography
Dr Shandana Mohmand is a social scientist whose main area of research is inequality, democracy, and inclusive politics. She heads the Politics, Governance, and Economic Change Department at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS). She is the author of (Cambridge, 2019), and is on the Editorial Board of the Modern South Asia Series of Oxford University Press (New York); an Executive Council member of the British Association of South Asian Studies; a Fellow at the Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS); and an Associate Fellow at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS).Â
