Research

My research addresses the intersection of educational with social (dis)advantage. My research interests focus on the relationship between educational and social (dis)advantage. ÌýSpecific areas of interest include: Ìýschool exclusion as a disciplinary process; access to higher education; multiagency working, inclusing in relation to Virtual Schools in England; approaches to disadvantage at policy level in England, including in relation to the Pupil Premium and child and family poverty.
